Brisk walking Is healthy and studies prove that regular walks can lower blood pressure. It also reduces coronary heart diseases, colon cancer, diabetes, body fats and cholesterol.

Exercising, In the form of a Brisk Walk (more than just a simple stroll) done purposefully will Improve your fitness.

We all know that taking a brisk walk for 15-30 minutes a day will do you good. However, a lot of us have not thought about making walking a daily routine, It's free and will help to get you healthy.

Instead of taking the car, why not let your feet do the driving to your destination, to reap the full benefit of this wonderful exercise.

Take your dog along with you. Dogs are great pets. They, like other animals can be great stress relievers. They can Improve your mood and can shave off loneliness. They also give unconditional love and support. Apart from all these, dogs give you the encouragement to stay out of your house and exercise.

Taking your pet along also adds security from potential attackers, It does not only provide you enjoyment and companionship, but also helps to Improve your well being.

Don't forget to do your warm ups and cool downs. A lot of us know that warming up before any exercise is necessary to prevent Injuries related to exercise. But what we don’t realize Is that cooling down after exercise Is just as important.
